Life is a mix of peaks and valleys, beauty and ashes. When we walk through the seasons of difficulty or confusion, it is helpful to have a sojourner to provide support, perspective, and encouragement. The difficulty looks different for each of us. It may be battling daily anxiety or depression, trying to mend a broken heart, wrestling through a big decision, working toward reconciliation with a loved one, or coming face to face with traumatic experiences in our past or present. Navigating those circumstances alone can be heavy, isolating, and disorientating.
The journey of healing and restoration also looks different for each of us, and I will work with my clients to collaborate on their goals and desires throughout the process. I aim to create a secure environment for people to process their journey, shed their tears, speak the unspeakable, wrestle with the tension, and find their resolve and rest amidst their circumstances. My hope for my clients is to come out of their valleys with new hope and perspective to enter their world and their relationships in healthier ways.
Outside of the counseling room, I enjoy doing marriage ministry alongside my husband of over twenty years. We love spending time playing games, watching football, or spending time on the beach with our four children and one son-in-law. I also appreciate quiet days with a good book and an iced coffee.
