Stephanie Fisher MA LPC

Get to know Stephanie

We are each telling a story with our lives. Our decisions, our steps, our choices, and our relationships help craft the story. In some seasons, we decide to edit this story, continue to build out the story, come to choice points and transitions, suffer the loss of our normal, or decide we desire to change the story we are telling. I get to walk alongside people as they pick up the pen and begin editing, continue building, or completely revise what is being written. Most often, I walk alongside people going through life transitions. It is in the context of transitions where a lot of our anxiety, fear, overwhelm, and trauma get stirred up. It is also in transitions that we are most receptive to change; these periods of uncertainty can provide fertile ground for new narratives to emerge and unfold. Counseling allows me to be a guide in your story.

Healing comes through integrating the body, mind, and spirit as well as reconciling the past and coming fully into the present. Together, through a client-centered, collaborative approach, we will aim for the next, whatever that means in your story, and walk that road together.

In my free time, I enjoy walks with my husband and our dog, Brutus. We enjoy pickleball, card games, watching shows together – especially Survivor! – and spending time with family. Cooking, reading, writing, relaxing outside, and putting together puzzles are my favorite solo pastimes.
