Shawna Biggs MA LPC

Get to know Shawna

I believe every person longs to feel seen, valued, and connected. Through both personal and professional experience, I have discovered that healing and growth happen best in the context of safe, authentic relationships. I strive to create a compassionate and collaborative counseling space where individuals and couples can explore the challenges they face, gain clarity, and take meaningful steps toward the life and relationships they desire.

Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply unsure of where to begin, I will meet you with warmth, empathy, and grace. It’s an honor to walk alongside those who are ready to take steps—big or small—toward hope and healing. I count it a privilege to support individuals as they navigate painful, complex, or uncertain seasons of life, offering a space where they don’t have to carry it all alone. I am especially passionate about helping couples build stronger foundations, restore connection, and grow in emotional and spiritual intimacy. Whether couples are walking through conflict, disconnection, or simply longing to deepen their relationship, I aim to create a space where both partners feel safe, heard, and equipped to grow together. I believe faith is a vital part of the healing process and consider it a joy to help others experience the renewal available through Jesus.

Outside of counseling, I enjoy life with my husband and daughter. Together, my husband and I lead a small group and also serve as mentors in the marriage ministry at our church. I also love traveling, gardening, baking, and reading—and I try to soak up every day of warm weather Michigan offers us!
