Dan Schmidt, MA LLPC

Get to know Dan

Every person is uniquely and wonderfully created by God. In our uniqueness we can sometimes get stuck. I am passionate about walking with individuals as they work to get unstuck, find healing, and find their path to living a fuller life. I have served as a pastor for the last 7+ years and a prison ministry chaplain for the past 2+ years. Through pastoral care I have spent considerable time walking with couples as they work through various concerns. I have spent much of my chaplaincy working with men struggling with addiction, identity issues, and faith issues. I have lead marriage enrichment groups, spiritual enrichment groups, and addiction groups. As a parent of a child with special needs, I also have a heart and understanding for the unique struggles parents and families face when caring for a family member who has special needs.

As your counselor I will work to incorporate mind, body, and spirit in the healing process as I walk with you on your journey. I want to collaborate with you to achieve your goals in finding hope and healing.
