My journey toward a career in counseling was inspired by my work as a nurse. Through experiences in critical care, genetics, and psychiatric nursing, I discovered a deep passion for supporting people during life’s most challenging and heartbreaking moments. As a counselor, my goal is to offer empathetic support, encouragement, and attuned listening as I walk alongside you in your unique pursuit of healing.
Our brains and bodies are designed to heal and adapt, yet life’s experiences—such as pain, overwhelm, trauma, and anxiety—can sometimes make that process feel stuck or overwhelming. In the same way someone seeks medical care for a broken leg, working with a counselor can help you process your experiences and move toward healing.
If you find yourself needing support, I strive to create a holistic, compassionate environment where you are met with hope, understanding, and grace. In our sessions, I will create space for your story, help you identify your concerns, attune to your emotions, support you in finding words for your experiences, and build a trusting therapeutic relationship.

Although I have worked with people in many different life circumstances, I have particular experience and interest in walking with older teen girls, young adult women, and woman in the areas listed below. That being said, I would love to get to know the unique nature of your story.
