I believe we all have moments when we seem to get stuck—stuck in situations, in relationships, in ourselves. At times like these it is a blessing to have another person who can come alongside and help us along in our journey. And it is moments like these that I enjoy the most—the honor of being able to walk beside others and help them to heal, to hope, to live for more.
As a Christian counselor, I have learned to focus on what people believe about themselves, others, and the world around them. I concentrate on the power that individuals have to make choices about their beliefs, actions, and emotions as they learn to walk with God through the challenges of life. I also recognize that individuals live and work within the context of community and family systems with significant and influential relationships, and I help clients explore and develop the relationships they have with significant others in their life.
